Description
The yellow cornmeal is prepared by grinding the organic degermed yellow corn kernels into a coarse consistency. Corn is a versatile grain which contains no cholesterol and is high in polyunsaturated fat. It is also high in fibre and contains many of the nutrients essential to proper human development. Yellow cornmeal has the highest level of beta carotene of all varieties.

Directions
Stir 1 cup of cornmeal into 4 cups boiling water. Add 1 tsp salt and return to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Uses
Organic cornmeal can be used to make different varieties of baked goods such as corn bread, pancakes, cooked cereal, polenta, tacos, and tortillas. If used as a wheat flour substitute, more water will generally be required.

Storage
Product should be stored in a clean, dry area removed from direct heat and sunshine. Shelf life is approximately 12 months.
