Description
Our Organic Beet Powder is 100% made from Organic and non-GMO beets. We do not have any additives in our Organic Beet Powder, just delicious beets.
We are so excited to have an Organic option for our Beet Powder as offering Organic is so important to us here at Westpoint. We value having ingredient transparency that right down to the seed. This is one of the best parts of shopping Organic is getting to know so much about how your food is grown.
Healthy soil is the basis for all organic agriculture. Organic farmers use natural organic fertilizers and soil amendments like organic matter (things you can compost), green manures (cover crops grown specifically for soil improvement, e.g. legumes) to build healthy soil. When food is grown in soil that is healthy and is rich in biodiversity, crops are better able to resist disease, survive drought, and tolerate insects.
Beets are high in fibre and antioxidants so they help flush toxins from the body as well as keep the digestive system healthy. You can add them to so many different meals to get a healthy digestive boost.
If you don’t like the earthy taste of beets, then beet powder might be a great choice for you since it is more concentrated than fresh beets but with a relatively neutral taste. One fresh beet is the equivalent of one teaspoon of beet powder.
