Medjool dates are the fruit of date palm trees, They have a wrinkled and dehydrated appearance, but are considered the “soft” variety since they are picked early in their ripening season. Medjool dates are incredibly sweet and flavourful, and are easy to eat.

Medjool dates can be consumed as is, or used as a natural sweetener and binding agent in many recipes including granola bars, smoothies, jams and other sweet bites. They can also be a delicious appetizer or snack when stuffed with other ingredients like goat cheese!

Cool, dry storage between 13-21˚C is recommended for a shelf life of about 6 months.
