Rinse 1 cup rice and add 2 1/2 cups water. Bring to a boil, stir, cover, and simmer gently for 45 minutes. For softer grain, soak in water for 20 minutes.

Optimum shelf life is 3 months. It is highly recommended to keep it refrigerated during the summer for extended shelf life.
