  • Barley is harvested with the hull intact. Hulled barley is the whole grain with only the inedible spikelet removed. Barley flakes are milled from cleaned, hulled barley groats. Barley has a good texture and mild grain flavour.

  • Add 1/4 cup of cereal to 1 cup boiling water. Cook gently for 10 minutes. Add fruit, milk, or sweetening as desired.
